Forensics
This high school level course integrates biology, chemistry, and physics to teach the basic techniques and the hard-core science of crime scene investigation. The course will include weekly lab and lecture segments, frequent quizzes, and two semester projects. Topics will include ballistics, toxicology, fiber analysis, fingerprinting, DNA evidence, facial reconstruction, and more. Extremely motivated 7th and 8th graders welcome with instructor approval.
No text is required, but internet access is mandatory.
