Geometry

This course incorporates engaging hands-on activities, games, and real-life experiences to build a foundation in geometry.  It is appropriate for students who have completed Algebra I.

Classes will include a lecture portion, group work, and activities, as well as daily homework, frequent quizzes, occasional supplemental projects, and comprehensive semester exams.

Students will develop the ability to explore and solve real-world application problems, participate in hands-on applications of concepts, construct logical proofs, and communicate mathematical ideas clearly. This course lays the foundation for mathematical literacy that will help students be successful in subsequent courses in mathematics.
