Biology

This high school level course covers biology from a literal 6-day creation viewpoint, including units on cells, genetics and inheritance, ecology,  and all major phyla of organisms.  The course features weekly labs, including several dissections, lectures, regular quizzes, and a paper and presentation each semester.  

Textbook required: Exploring Creation with Biology, 2nd Ed. Dr. Jay Wile and Marilyn Durnell

Topics include:
  • Cell structure and function
  • Mitosis and meiosis
  • Protein synthesis
  • Genetics
  • Classification systems 
  • Ecology
  • Origins
  • Human and animal anatomy

Time: M/W 11:30a-1:30p


Tuition: $82/month + $25/semester lab fee (8 months in 2 semesters/educational year)
Discounts available for payment of a full semester and for multi student families
